Brotherhood Ministry
Bro. Kevin Blair, Chair
The purpose of the Brotherhood Ministry is to allow the males of the church to come together for fellowship as one, and to plan missionary work by assisting our seniors, members and serving as role models for our youth.

Church School Ministry
Sis. Bernadetta Robinson, Superintendent
Church School Ministry is the teaching and training arm of NBMBC and operates under the domain of the Wateree Baptist Association, Lower Division. As the teaching and training arm of our church, it is our ultimate concern and primary goal to see to it that our people not perish for the lack of spiritual knowledge. As a vital part of our church’s physical, spiritual and economic growth, we provide weekly classes for all age groups. Our teachers are highly qualified and encouraged to attend training opportunities a minimum of one time per year, as prescribed by the South Carolina Baptist Congress. At NBMBC, “We are responsible for our growth.”

Deacons Ministry

The purpose of the Deaconess Ministry is to assist the Pastor and Deacons in the spiritual ministry of the church body.

Education Ministry

The purpose of the Education Ministry is to enhance the secular and Christian education for our youth and adults with the focus on education being a family matter. Assisting our youth in all educational aspects and providing valuable information to assist them.

Harvest Hope Ministry
Sis. Mae Alice McGruder, Chair
NBMBC Harvest Hope Ministry's mission serves to share the overwhelming abundance that God has showered upon us with those in need in our church, and community. Harvest Hope food is shared with love and respect to those who come for assistance.

Junior Missionary
Sis. Brenda Norfleet, Chair
Junior Missionary Ministry is to establish and maintain fellowship among young people in Christian work, and to provide spiritual leadership and training.

Junior Ushers Ministry
Sis. Georgia Rose and Sis. Bernadetta Robinson, Advisors
The purpose of the Junior Ushers Ministry is to promote the divine worship of the church. To render service of any kind effectively. To maintain order and decency of all worship services. To give urgently necessary assistance to all members and visitors in the church. To give advice, direction, and promote Christianity, evangelism, and a spiritual worship service.


Kitchen Ministry
Kitchen Ministry is to provide cooking services for home-going services and other designated events. Perform duties in a courteous, Christian manner and to maintain order and decency.
Media Ministry
Sis. Beverly Osborne, Bro. John Osborne and Sis. Ramona McFadden
Our mission is to lead people into a new and growing relationship with Jesus Christ through the use of technology and technical gifts by creating an excellent, spiritual, and professional atmosphere. We will seek how to best serve our Pastor, deacons, and every ministry with our technology in a manner that is helpful and not hindering to accomplish this mission.




Music Ministry

Music Ministry is to enhance our worship services through music by using the many talents effort to praise God.

Nurses Aid and Health Ministry

The purpose of the Nurse’s Aide Ministry is to aide in the support of everyone during times of distress. To promote healthy lifestyles among our church family and our community; to educate and inform members and the community in choosing healthier lifestyles.

Nursery Ministry
Sis. Gloria McFadden & Sis. Carolyn Pearson
The purpose of the Nursery Ministry is to provide quality childcare in a Christian environment, while introducing them to the teachings of Christ.

Pastor's Aid Ministry
Sis. Barbara Pearson, Chair
To show appreciation to our pastor and support him and his family with encouraging words, prayers, and other actions of service. Extend hospitality to visiting ministers, their families and guests. Assist the pastor in fulfilling his goals to the church and community.

Senior Missionary Ministry
Sis. Lula Burns, Chair
The purpose of the Senior Missionary Ministry is to aid the sick and shut-in, and to win souls for Christ. The Senior Missionary is divided into three missionary circles.
The purpose of the circles in the missionary society is to promote intensive study of missions and the missionary message of the Bible, to obtain a more general attendance of interest of the individual member in the work of the entire missionary society, and to develop leadership among the members.

Senior Ushers Ministry
Bro. Anthony Scriven
The members of the Senior Ushers Ministry have pledged to devote their time and effort to the members and friends of New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church; to ensure the worship services are carried out in an orderly fashion. These ushers have committed themselves to promoting the divine worship of the church while maintaining order and decency.

Transportation Ministry
Sis. Melinda White, Chair
To provide safe transportation to and from church to those who need transportation on Sunday mornings, other church activities, and to maintain the upkeep of the church’s vehicle.

Trustee Ministry
Sis. Barbara Sharper, Chair
The purpose of the Trustees’ Ministry is to faithfully manage and oversee the church’s property by maintaining the building, the grounds, and ensuring all equipment is in proper order. Also, manage the financial matters of the church with spiritual guidance.

Veterans Ministry
Bro. John Osborne, Chair
The Veterans Ministry is guided by a deep sense of gratitude for the sacrifices made by our military veterans. Our mission is to create a nurturing and spiritually supportive community that honors and serves those who have bravely defended our country. We are dedicated to offering spiritual guidance, fellowship, and assistance as veterans navigate their faith, and personal growth.

Widows & Widowers/Nursery

The purpose of the Widows and Widowers Ministry is to encourage, empower and exhort those who are grief stricken, and have suffered the loss of a spouse through prayer, seminars and fellowshipping.

YWA Ministry
Sis. Beverly Osborne, Chair
The purpose of the Young Woman’s Auxiliary (Y.W.A.) Ministry is to establish and maintain fellowship among young Christian women; to provide spiritual leadership and development, engage in church and community service projects, work jointly with the Senior Missionaries, and attend or be represented at the Spring Meeting of the Wateree Baptist Lower Division, the Women’s State Convention, and the Wateree Baptist Lower Division Association Meeting in October.
